We are searching for a Senior Loan Processor who is self-motivated and detail-oriented to join our team. This position requires full service processing, including file order outs, file submissions, clearing conditions and doc orders. A broad knowledge of lending guidelines and regulations, as well as knowledge in reading tax returns and determining income in accordance with underwriting guidelines are required. Qualified applicants must have good communication skills, both written and oral. Due to the highly confidential nature of our business, honesty and a high level of integrity are required.

Required skills:

• 5+ years loan processing experience 
• 3+ years FHA and VA experienceRecent processing experience with knowledge of updated lending guidelines

Client contact is required, so excellent customer service skills are a must. Ideal candidate has origination, processing and even some underwriting experience.

 Job Description

• Research and understand loan products, guidelines and requirements
• Coordinate and act as liaison with clients, partners, internal and external third party providers and other professionals to schedule and ensure closing takes place in a timely manner
• Review of loan documentation and approvals, compliance auditing, follow-up with loan officer, clients and other parties to assure all loan approval conditions are met
• Maintain prospective client database and loan status pipeline
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Loan Origination experience a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work cooperatively and professionally in a fast pace production environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with excel a big plus!

This position requires 2 to 3 years experience in loan origination, a current NMLS license and knowledge of various loan products. Our ideal candidate will have minimum closings (or a minimum closing) of $10 million per year, although lower production levels will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
